The noodles are made by kneading dough with leafy rucola, a nutrient-rich vegetable said to have originated in Egypt. The store also sells take-away rucola noodles, Korogawa's specialty pearl barley and pearl barley products, as well as perilla and cereals from around Iwate Prefecture.
