This café is inside the Inohara Kanamono Store, established in 1877. In addition to Shimabara's specialty dessert kanzarashi, the café serves somen noodles, curry made with fresh local vegetables, and coffee made with spring water. The building is a reconstruction of a late Edo-period townhouse and is designated a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
