This lion-dance experience is organized by the Shinminato Branch of the Etchu Festival Youth Association. After an explanation of the history and the various roles in the lion dance, participants will be treated to an authentic, exciting performance. They then become insiders in this traditional Japanese activity by trying their hand at moving the lion and beating the drums. A commemorative photo tops off the day. A sightseeing boat trip that meanders down a beautiful river to the scenic Toyama Bay.
